What Type of Compensation am I Entitled to?

Compensation, or damages, is dependent on the type of case, but generally injured individuals are entitled to recover their past medical bills, future medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of household services, and potentially even punitive damages. An injured person’s spouse may also be entitled to damages for a loss of consortium claim. Hiring Platinum Injury Law will ensure that you receive the maximum compensation that you deserve.

How long will my case take?

Each case is different and the time for recovery will determine on the specific facts and circumstances of your case. Rest assured, we work diligently to resolve your case as quickly and expeditiously as possible to deliver you the compensation you deserve.

How long do I have to file a personal injury claim?

There are strict timelines in place that you must adhere to in order to recover for your injuries as a result of someone else’s negligence. This is often referred to as the “statute of limitations.” The statute of limitations for most personal injury claims in Nevada and California is two years after the date the accident or incident occurred. Failing to make a claim within this timeline can be detrimental to your case and you may not be able to recover at all.

I don’t have health insurance. Can I still receive medical treatment?

Yes. It is our number one goal to get you the medical care and treatment you need to begin your path to recovery. Platinum Injury Law has relationships with world class doctors and medical professionals who can provide you medical treatment now at no upfront cost to you.
